NIRBHAYA

Jyoti,popularly called NIRBHAYA , finally got JUSTICE, the justice that her bold Mother , depressed family ,relatives and the deeply hurt nation was demanding for since long "seven years". This day,20th March,2020 seems to mark a great VICTORY of  good over evil,victim against rapist and will be proudly be celebrated as -"NIRBHAYA DIWAS" ,each year. This entitlement and widely acclaimed reverence bestowed to the poor,weary,harrased  and fatigued Nirbhaya will free her soul that was stained with malice,lust,attrocities,insult and an anti-social mentality of the most powerful,unreachable,unstoppable "MEN"- (मरद ) and heal the bleeding wounds of her mother's heart that had been raging for JUSTICE .

Is it JUSTICE ?

If I am not wrong or remember clearly , there were six rapists in all !  Alas,poor memory! Couldn't help as this brutal tragedy occurred 7 /SEVEN YEARS  back.Though only four of the accused demons,devil,satan,monsters ,viz., Ram Singh ,Mukesh Singh , Vinay Gupta ,Pawan Gupta ,Akshay Thakur and a  juvenile were hanged to death as Ram Singh died during the trial and the last one escaped for being a JUVENILE , a young innocent mind ,childish ,raw and hence easily influenced by others ,in conclusion,not an adult and therefore did not face the so-called result of his greatest SIN. Why do the rapists do not keep this in mind when they commit this heinous crime on female babies of hardly 2-3 months,small girl kids and teens? Where does this age barrier slips and completely vanishes ,even from the intellectual, bureaucratic brains of our Politicians,Leaders,  Judges,officers in charge of law-making,law-abiding and law-enforcement. If there is a law framed for protecting juvenile criminals then why not for safeguarding juvenile VICTIMS? A criminal should NOT be judged by his 'age' but  by his CRIME ! So isn't it crystal clear that the JUVENILE CRIMINAL should  not have been  spared for he was a "JUVENILE"? So the gist comes out that this much celebrated NYAYA is incomplete.

JYOTI which translates to LIGHT , symbolic of Faith ,Hope,Truth and Optimism was pushed into the world of darkness when she underwent such a traumatic,painful and heart-wrenching incident. Being badly assaulted and brutally dragged on the verge of death,she battled  between life and death and finally descended her soul to that holy place uppermost in the sky behind the clouds where atleast she wouldn't have to burden herself with scathing remarks that would cause gaping wounds on her as well as her mother's heart. Salute to the Brave Mother of  23 -year-old JYOTI,who courageously fought for her daughter with an unflinching strength and determination for the past seven years in which she must have had uncountable sleepless nights,dreadful nightmares and the image of distraught and bleeding Nirbhaya -an undeniable evidence of our country's strict administration and flawless,rigid policies for the most vulnerable section of society-FEMALES .

NIRBHAYA( = the Fearless one ) Oh it has a deep meaning . Can some of  smart ladies and gentlemen sitting on chairs please explain how can a baby girl,kid,teen,maiden,lady,woman can have this Fearlessness when the Court is too quick to give it's verdict on RAPE Cases , when there is a backlog of more than 100,000 pending cases and ,God knows , how many unlimited cases which is either not filed due to public shame or due to the  life-long dust that these complaints will be covered with! Each day close to 90 rapes are reported in India,the conviction rate being merely 32%.

 I repeat ,is it JUSTICE?

Following Nirbhaya,Damini,Asifa,Dr. Priyanka Reddy and  yet,mournfully,an endless list awaits ...... and the scariest punishment is only Hanging.This rids them of all their unpardonable sins in just a few seconds ,not realising a 0.01% of all the pain and sufferings the girl had gone through.

Oh, the same question pops up ,"Is it JUSTICE???"

The simple answer , "NO,A BIG NO!!!"

DELAYED JUSTICE IS INJUSTICE !
